Iowa State men’s basketball head coach Steve Prohm agreed on a contract extension through 2022, the school announced Friday.

Women’s basketball coach Bill Fennelly was also extended through 2022.

Prohm received a pay raise to $2 million annually, up from $1.55 million last season, according to the release.

Prohm led the Cyclones to a Sweet 16 appearance in the 2015-16 season and a Big 12 Tournament title in the 2016-17 season. He owns a 47-23 record during his two seasons at Iowa State.

Prohm was previously signed through 2021 after a contract amendment earlier this season. His incentives, which earned him $125,000 during the team’s postseason run in the 2016-17 season, will stay the same, according to the release.

“Coach Prohm has led our program to a Big 12 Championship and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances while also representing our institution and athletics department in a first-class manner, both on and off the court,” Iowa State Athletic Director Jamie Pollard said in a statement. “His values and approach to coaching are a perfect fit for our institution and fan base.”

Fennelly’s contract amendment was a three-year extension, but there wasn’t any compensation change.

Fennelly’s team earned a NCAA Tournament berth in the 2016-17 season after beating a top-10 Texas team on the road near the end of the year. He just wrapped up his 22nd season coaching the Cyclones, compiling a 465-236 record.

“When you consider coach Fennelly took a program that had averaged just more than 10 wins a year in the two decades before his arrival and now has won 465 games in Ames, it’s a pretty amazing story,” Pollard said in a statement  “His players are great ambassadors on and off the court and he has personally built a loyal and large fan base one person at a time.”
