Grammys Fashion: Hits, Misses, and Most Talked About

The 59th annual Grammy Award Ceremony was held on Feb. 12 and, as per usual, there was both fabulous and outlandish attire spotted on the red carpet. Let’s delve into the hits, misses and most talked about looks at the 2017 Grammys.

Hits:

Adele in Givenchy. Adele looked stunning in this dress, which happens to be one of Riccardo Tisci’s final designs before leaving Givenchy.

Carrie Underwood in Elie Madi. Carrie never fails to disappoint, and this powerful red dress was no exception.

Schoolboy Q and his daughter in Gucci. Schoolboy Q (in a pink “Girl Power” hoodie) brought his daughter (in a pink Gucci suit) to the ceremony with him, and the pair made an awesome feminist statement.

Misses:

Katy Perry. Katy looked great from the waist up, but the feathers on the bottom her dress start in an unflattering spot, making the whole look a tad awkward.

Halsey in Christian Wijnants. Her blue satin ensemble looked like a fashion malfunction waiting to happen.

Joy Villa in Andre Soriano. It’s great to have political opinions, but plastering them on the dress you wear to the Grammys might not be the best way to share.

Most Talked About:

Ceelo Green. Ceelo’s outfit went viral the minute he stepped onto the red carpet, making it the most talked about look at the Grammys this year. Here are some of my favorite memes.
