This Friday the Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) will host one of their most striking yearly events. 

For the seventh year in the row SALC’s Nearly Naked Mile will begin and end at the Iowa State Alumni Center with a route running through Greek-land. 

After the race runners are asked to strip off clothing they wish to donate, they line up and wait for the starting gun. 

Check-in for the event begins at 8 p.m. and ends at 8:45 p.m. The run itself starts at 9 p.m. and lasts until students reach the finish line. For a $10 fee that had to be paid before April 12, students are guaranteed a commemorative t-shirt. Day-of registrations are still accepted, but are cash only.
