With one round completed, the ISU women’s golf team finished with three out of five golfers turning in a score of par or better and are in second place in team standings.

The Cyclones finished Monday’s round at the Hurricane Invitational in Miami, Fla., with a total team score of 281 (-3). They find themselves in second place on the team scoreboard and only four strokes behind the leader, Northwestern, who shot a score of 277 (-7).

Three Cyclones posted scores that were at even par or better. They were led by sophomore Nattapan Siritrai, who finished with a score of 68 (-3). The two other golfers were freshman Parinda Phokan and freshman Chayanit Wangmahaporn, who shot rounds of 69 (-2) and 71 (E) respectively.

The top of the individual leaderboard is held by Northwestern sophomore Hannah Kim with a score of 67 (-4). There are three golfers tied for second place including Iowa State’s Nattapan Siritrai.
