Local Iowa bands will rock the Maintenance Shop later this week.

Des Moines band Holy White Hounds and Waterloo band Dylan Sires and Neighbors will perform at 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, in the Maintenance shop.

Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $7 with an ISU student ID (or $12 without one). 

Holy White Hounds is a Des Moines band dedicated to alternative rock. They are currently working  to produce their debut album “Sparkle Sparkle” with producer Brandon Dorner, who has worked with acts like Imagine Dragons.

Their single “Switchblade” has been played on several radio stations across the country and has been met with exceptional praise.

In addition to the upcoming album, the band self-released their EP titled “Oh Mama” in 2014. 

Dylan Sires and Neighbors will share the stage. The Waterloo band has been influenced by bands like The Beatles, Radiohead, Nirvana, and Vampire Weekend. They currently have two released albums titled “Someone” and “No One.”
