Air Force Musicians to perform at Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall

The USAF band of Mid-America will performed Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall.

The USAF band of Mid-America will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall. 

The concert is a free event for all ages.  Seating will be available on a first come first serve basis. 

The event is intended to connect the community with military members and honor veterans. 

The USAF Band of Mid-America’ Airlifter Brass is a group of six professional musicians from Scott Air Force base, Ill.. The band includes two trumpets, French horn, tuba, trombone, and percussion. 

The Airlifter Brass band is a source of inspiration for patriotism.

“Whether a military march, jazz standard, or an original arrangement of patriotic favorites each Airlifter Brass program is thoughtfully planned for a blend of inspiration and entertainment,” this according to the press release for the event.
