Los Angeles-based actor and comedian Fahim Anwar will host SUB’s Comedy Night at 9 p.m. Thursday at the Maintenance Shop.

Admission is free, and the doors will open at 8:30 p.m.

Previously an aerospace engineer for Boeing, Anwar has pursued acting and comedy since 2008. Since then, Anwar has appeared in season five of MTV’s “Guy Code,” had a minor role in the film “Neighbors” and will appear alongside Tina Fey and Margot Robbie in “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot,” which will be released March 4.

Most recently, Anwar has made appearances on many late-night comedy shows including “Conan,” “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “Last Call with Carson Daly.” He also appeared on “@midnight” with Chris Hardwick, which received an Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Social TV Experience” at the 67^th Primetime Emmy Awards.
