The ISU Music Dept. offers a variety of events to students and the general public. Here is a lineup of upcoming events for the Music Dept.:

7:30-8:30 p.m. Thurs., March 24 at MET Recital Hall on from–SAI Spring Benefit Concert.

*Donations from the event will go to the Sigma Alpha lota philanthropies.

7:30-8:30 p.m. Wed. March 30 at MET Recital Hall– ISU Percussion Ensemble

7:30-8:30 pm Fri., April 8 at MET Recital Hall–The ISU Chamber Orchestra ($3/$5)

7:30- 8:30 pm Tues., April 19 at MET Recital Hall– The ISU Wind Ensemble ($3/$5)

7:30- 8:30 p.m. Wed., April 20 at MET Recital Hall– The ISU Jazz Ensemble ($3/$5)

*The ensemble will perform “Far East Suite” by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, led by Michael Giles. 

7:30- 8:30 p.m. Thurs., April 21 at MET Recital Hall– The ISU Jazz Combo

*The university’s leading small jazz groups will feature profile concerts on some of their favorite artists.

7:30- 8:30 p.m. Fri., April 22nd at MET Recital Hall– The ISU Symphony Orchestra ($3/$5)

7:30- 8:30 p.m. Sat., April 23 at Stephens Auditorium– The Masterworks Choral Concert ($5/$10) 

3- 4 p.m. Sun., April 24 at the Ames City Auditorium– Iowa State’s Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Campus Band ($5/$7)

7:30- 8:30 p.m. Tues., May 3 at MET Recital Hall– Ames Town & Gown concert (free event for students/$25 for general public)

*The Aulos Ensemble will be performing authentic renditions of 18th century music. Regular tickets are $25; all students may attend for free.
