Since winning NBC’s “The Sing-Off” in 2013, Home Free released their first album, Crazy Life.
Originating from Mankato, Minn., the group consists of five vocalists: Rob Lundquist, Austin Brown, Chris Rupp, Tom Foust and Adam Rupp, all of whom have had formal vocal training.
The group’s style mimics that of a traditional barbershop quartet, meaning that there is a lead tenor, two harmony voices and a bass, but Home Free also employs a beatboxer.
As a country group, Home Free brings together the traditional stylings of an a cappella group and a classic country feel.
