The ultimate experimenters and co-hosts of Discovery Channel’s “MythBusters,” Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, will showcase “MythBusters: Jamie & Adam UNLEASHED!” tonight at 7p.m. in Stephens Auditorium.

“MythBusters” is a reality science television series known for its experimenters, flipping cars, dropping things from buildings and pushing all experiments to the limit.

Hyneman and Savage will perform many on-stage, myth-busting experiments at tonight’s show, as well as ask for audience members to participate.

The duo will also be showing captivating videos and behind-the-scenes stories during tonight’s show.

Known for their TV series, “MythBusters,” and their unique ways of implementing experiments, Hyneman and Savage are taking their experiments to the road, to celebrate their show’s last hoorah.

According to EW.com, the show is one of cable television’s longest-running and will have reached its 14th season.

Savage told EW.com,

“It was my greatest fear that ‘MythBusters’ would just stop and we wouldn’t be able to do proper final episodes. So whether it’s myths about human behavior or car stories or explosion stories, we tried to find the most awesome example of each category and build on our past history.”
