Singer/songwriter Keller Williams will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at DG’s Tap House.

Although Williams has performed at DG’s before, musicians Rob Wasserman and Rodney Holmes will join him this time as the Keller Williams Trio.

Tickets can be purchased for $25 at the door or online via Midwestix.

The trio will perform revamped versions of Williams’ songs throughout his career as well as other covers. The Keller Williams Trio debuted in mid-September and will tour throughout the Midwest and East Coast until early December.

Williams said he has enjoyed recreating some of his music with Wasserman and Holmes.

“I really respect these players and I’ve been wanting to bring something different than a normal solo show,” Williams said.

Williams described the trio’s style as “acoustic dance music” and said the audience can expect “a bunch of hairy, happy people bumping into each other.”

Nate Logsdon, manager and booking agent of DG’s, said the Keller Williams Trio should be well received on Saturday night. According to Logsdon, Williams has a large and diverse fan base that will draw audience members from all over the state.

“The crowd will be a good mix of college students and people from the community,” Logsdon said. “[Williams’] quality of musicianship is extremely high and he is a very well-respected artist.”
