What you need to know about the Breckenridge property:

• The proposed development along South Wilmoth Avenue and Lincoln Way will include apartments (available to students) as well as commercial property, similar to the development we currently see in Campustown.

• Breckenridge has been encouraged, but not required, to provide a bike path on their property to facilitate transportation to resources elsewhere in Ames (e.g. a route from the apartments to grocery stores).

• If you have an opinion about the property, you can show up to the public hearing 6 p.m. November 24 at Ames City Hall and make your voice heard.
