Ten different Cyclones found the back of the net as No. 5 Cyclone Hockey routed the Division II Augustana Vikings at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena 11-0 on Friday night.

Aaron Azevedo got the first goal for the Cyclones early in the first period, and they never looked back. The Cyclones lit the lamp four times in the first period, three times in the second and four times in the third.

Tony Uglem, the Cyclones’ leading goal scoarer, was the only Cyclone to have multiple goals.

On the other end of the ice, the Cyclones defense was stout. Goalie Derek Moser only had to face a hand full of shots and saved them all.

The Cyclones and the Vikings will meet again tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena to complete the weekend series.
