Award ceremony honors university faculty, staff

ISU faculty and staff will be honored Monday at an award ceremony on campus.
The ceremony will take place at 3:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union with a reception to follow.
The event, which is hosted by the Office of President Steven Leath, will present a variety of awards and honors to some of the university’s many members that recognize their accomplishments. The awards are given to those who demonstrate a commitment to learning, discovery and engagement, according to the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost.
Awards staff or faculty can receive include Distinguished Professor, International Service Award, ISU Award for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching and the ISU Award for Departmental Leadership.
Faculty and staff can be nominated for awards by colleges, departments, programs or individuals. Final nominations needed to be submitted to the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost by Feb. 10 for the 2016 awards.
