Scott Fernandez’s career as a Cyclone has concluded, but the honors keep coming in for the former ISU men’s golfer.

On June 1, Fernandez was one of 25 golfers to be named to the PING all-Central team, selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Overall, 155 golfers across six regions were honored.

Fernandez has been named to the all-Central team three times in his collegiate career.

The Granada, Spain, native is Iowa State’s all-time leader in stroke average (72.09), top-10 finishes (29) and victories (four).

In his senior year in 2014-2015, Fernandez led or co-led Iowa State in the same three categories, recording two victories and six more top-10 finishes en route to a 71.89 stroke average.
