A comeback in the cards for Royce White

The last time former ISU basketball player Royce White don an NBA uniform was on March 21 when he logged less than a minute of play for the Sacramento Kings in a loss against the San Antonio Spurs. That might not be the last time we see White in a NBA uniform.

Back on Feb. 26, White hinted at an attempt of a comeback when he tweeted, “I respect Larry Sanders decision. Admirable! But if you think I’m done, you’re wrong. I NEVER said I didn’t want to play. #BeWell”. White added more fuel to the comeback rumor when he tweeted, “There’s good @NBA ball being played right now. Cant wait til I see my day again. #NoQuit,” back on March 5. Well that attempt for a comeback might become reality.

According to Minnesotan journalist, Darren Wolfson, the Los Angeles Clippers are showing some interest in White. On May 12, Wolfson tweeted, “Royce White update: #Clippers FO bosses Dave Wohl (former #Twolves ass’t) & Kevin Eastman came to see Royce workout recently.”
