The down-low on “CoD: Havoc”

Call of Duty-ers rejoice, the new downloadable content is here … for Xbox owners, that is.  “Havoc,” the first DLC pack for the “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” video game, was released late January for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. Late February will see the release of “Havoc” for PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

“Havoc” can be purchased for about 15 bucks to expand on the “CoD: Advanced Warfare” game. By now, it’s common knowledge to the general population of gamers that “Havoc” is bringing some new stuff to the plate. But to those who aren’t involved in the game, here’s the gist:

– Four new multiplayer maps: Sideshow, Urban, Core, and Drift

New Exo Zombie gameplay, Outbreak (think copy and paste zombies from “Black Ops”)

– Two new weapons, one for multiplayer play (AE4 Widomaker) and one for Exo Zombies (CEL-3 Cauterizer)

The new stuff isn’t monumental, but it’s a change-up from the same ole’ same game. PlayStation and PC gamers may be chomping at the bit, however, as they wait to get a taste of the new expansion.
