Coming off a shootout loss, Cyclone Hockey was looking to bounce back to split the series with Robert Morris in Ames.

Though the first period was scoreless, Cyclone Hockey outshot Robert Morris 9-to-6 and controlled the puck majority of the time.

The tides turned in the second period as the Eagles controlled the puck and outshot the Cyclones 11-to-6. Nick Ernst scored five minutes in to put Robert Morris up 1-0.

The Cyclones broke the seal in the third with a goal from Alex Grose to tie it up at 1-1, but the Eagles silenced the crowd with a goal from their captain to take the lead, which eventually sealed the game, 2-1.

Cyclone Hockey does not play again until Jan. 9, 2015 as they take on the University of Illinois in Ames, Iowa.
