For the second consecutive season, ISU women’s cross country coach Andrea Grove-McDonough has been named Big 12 Coach of the Year.

This year’s award marks the fourth consecutive season that an ISU coach has received the honor.

Grove-McDonough led her team to its fourth consecutive Big 12 title on Nov. 1, and its best performance of the season.

The conference championship streak for the Cyclones is tied for the third-longest active conference winning streak among women’s programs. The streak is the longest in school history among all sports.

Iowa State will have an opportunity to earn its fifth consecutive regional title Nov. 15 in Peoria, Ill.
