Third Day to perform at Stephens Auditorium

Legendary Christian rock band Third Day will perform at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, at CY Stephens Auditorium.
After more than two decades in the spotlight, the Georgia-based band’s life-affirming lyrics have combined faith, passion and rock ‘n’ roll swagger to produce the their latest and 12th album, Miracle, an impactful soundtrack which members of Third Day have seen music repeatedly impacting lives.
“Miracle” is the latest collection in Third Day’s impressive body of work, which has earned the male quartet four Grammy awards, 11 Grammy nominations, 24 Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards with 42 total nominations, one Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Platinum album and eight RIAA Gold albums.
“Show Me Your Glory,” “Cry Out to Jesus,” “I Believe,” “Mountain God,” “Call My Name,” “Born Again” and “Trust in Jesus” are only a small list of Third Day’s inspirational hits which have captivated and uplifted audiences around the world.
Third Day is produced by rock legend Brendan O’Brien, known for his work with Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Train and The Killers. Combining rock and Christian music, the members of Third Day have been given a platform which they take seriously.
Beyond enjoying performing and entertaining, Third Day wants to offer hope and encouragement to their audience. Holding on to one’s faith in the midst of doubt is an overarching theme of “Miracle” that the band fully encourages their audiences to believe in the uplifting power of music to influence people and change lives.
