A referee tries to break up the fight between senior forward J.P. Kascsak and a Michigan-Dearborn player. The Wolverine exited the game after the fight was broken up, and Kascask had a two-penalty sit out in the penalty box. The Cyclones won the Oct. 24 game 4-2.

Cyclone Hockey dropped the final game of its series against the Ohio Bobcats 4-2 on Nov. 1 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena. Here are the three stars for the game.

1. Tom Whetsal, Bobcat forward: Whetsal tied the game at one with a goal in the second period.

2. Diego Breckendridge, Bobcat forward: Breckenridge put the Bobcats ahead after chipping in a puck from in front of the net.

3. Alec Wilhelmi, Cyclone forward: Wilhelmi was credited the first goal after deflecting an Antti Helanto slap shot from the point.
