3 stars from Cyclone Hockey win over the Wolverines

Cyclone Hockey beat the Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines 4-2 Oct. 24 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena. Here are the three stars from the game.

1. Trevor Lloyd, Cyclone forward: Lloyd scored the first goal of the game for the Cyclones, shooting a puck off of the Wolverine goaltender’s pad and deflecting it in.

2. Eero Helanto, Cyclone forward: The defenseman moved to forward for the game and scored the second Cyclone goal in the process. He also tallied an assist in the third period.

3. J.P. Kascsak, Cyclone Forward: Kascsak scored the fourth goal for the Cyclones and it was a big one to put the Cyclones up by two.

Cyclone Hockey plays Michigan-Dearborn for a sweep at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
