3 stars from Cyclone Hockey’s win against the Ohio Bobcats
Senior Matt Cooper, goalie, guards the net during the hockey game against Lindenwood. Iowa State suffered a 3-2 defeat against Lindenwood on Oct. 17 at the ISU/Ames Ice Arena and another loss on Oct. 18 of 2-1 in overtime.

Cyclone Hockey won 2-1 in overtime against the Ohio Bobcats Oct. 31 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena. Here are the three stars from the game.
1. Zack Johnson, Cyclone forward- Johnson finished the game with a backhand shot in overtime.
2. Trevor Lloyd, Cyclone forward- Lloyd put the Cyclones on the board early in the second period with a wrist shot that beat the Bobcat goaltender
3. Michael Harris, Bobcat forward- Harris knotted the game at one after jamming a puck home in the second period.
Cyclone Hockey completes its two-game series against the Ohio Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
