Sometimes Numbers Do Lie

Based on record and ranking, Kansas State looks to be the superior team. The match is being held in Manhattan, Kansas, which appears to favor the Wildcats as well.

Last season, however, the teams split their two matches as each won in a 3-0 sweep on their home courts.

The match would bode better for the Cyclones were it held in Hilton Coliseum, but junior Mackenzie Bigbee said the team is fired up and hungry after proving itself against a talented West Virginia squad.

ISU volleyball coach Christy Johnson-LynchCQ added that with the youthful talent present on her team, anything can happen.

First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 8.
