Ames celebrated its annual Oktoberfest festival Sept. 20 with authentic German food, guten tag games, European wine, craft beer, polka music and dancing lessons. The night finished with a live concert from Standing Hampton.

Ames celebrated its third Oktoberfest festival Sept. 19 to 20 at the Main Street Cultural District. Community members celebrated with authentic German food, craft beer, polka music, dancing lessons and concerts by Vertical Horizon, The Nadas and Standing Hampton.
