The ISU women’s soccer team did not get the results they were hoping for as they started their Big 12 schedule with a pair of road losses.

After dropping the conference opener against Oklahoma State 1-0 on Sept. 26, Iowa State was unable to turn around and grab a win as they fell to Baylor 2-0 Sept. 28.

Baylor was able to get on the board early, finding the back of the net in the 11th minute of the game. Baylor tacked on an insurance goal in the 68th minute that would seal the 2-0 win for the Bears.

The pair of losses drops the Cyclones’ record to 6-6 on the season and 0-2 in Big 12 play. The Cyclones have lost their last three matches.

Iowa State will look to rebound at home next weekend as they take on Texas and Oklahoma Oct. 3 and Oct. 5 respectively.
