The last name “Wallace” is fondly remembered by most of the ISU faithful, evoking images of a scrambling quarterback weaving in and out of broken defenses.

The fans might get to hear that name a few more times in the coming years.

Jordan Wallace, cousin of former quarterback Seneca Wallace, has verbally committed to play at Iowa State as a part of the recruiting class of 2015. Jordan is currently a safety for Guyer High School in Denton, Texas.

As a junior, Jordan racked up 86 tackles, including 10 tackles for loss. He also had 10 pass breakups during his junior campaign.

According to the Denton Record-Chronicle, Jordan visited Ames this past weekend before committing.
