Spring 2014 Stephens Auditorium events

Stephens Auditorium has added more events to its calendar for the spring of 2014 since it last announced its line up in May 2013.

The two new shows that have been added include Experience Hendrix on March 15 and Red Green with his tour, “How To Do Everything,” on May 6 and 7.

Experience Hendrix, comprised of various artists, performs their tribute concert to Jimi Hendrix, covering some of the guitar legend’s most important work.  

Comedian Red Green, better know as “Canada’s handyman,” shares his act “How To Do Everything – From the Man Who Should Know!”

The first to perform in the spring as part of the Performing Arts Series is the Moscow Festival Ballet: Cinderella on Jan. 26. Following is the Addams Family Musical Jan. 28.

Béla Fleck, Abigail Washburn and Del McCoury Band: 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14 

The TEN Tenors on Broadway: 7:30 p.m. Mar. 13

Australian Chamber Orchestra: 7:30 p.m. Mar. 24

Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra: 7:30 p.m. Mar. 26

Disney’s Beauty and The Beast: 6:30 p.m. Apr. 10

David Koechner: 10 p.m. Apr 12 (VEISHEA Free Performance)

Bring It On: The Musical: 7:30 p.m. Apr. 25

Mamma Mia!: 7:30 p.m. May 4

Tickets for the shows can be purchased online at Ticketmaster or at the north entrance of Stephens Auditorium at the Iowa State Center Ticket Office, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Fisher Theater also has a new event coming to Ames on Jan. 25. Don Tjernagel, a stand-up comic, is making his first appearance at Fisher Theater at 8 p.m. Tickets went on sale Jan. 10.

Tickets for Don Tjernagel are also available at the Iowa State Center Ticket Office located at the north entrance of Stephens Auditorium.
