Comedian Nick Swardson to play at Iowa State

Actor/comedian Nick Swardson will be performing stand up comedy at 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 23 in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union.

Known for staring in films like “Grandma’s Boy”, “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry”, “Blades of Glory”, and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”as well as his stand up special “Seriously Who Farted” that premiered on Comedy Central in 2010, Swardson has been on the face of comedy nonstop since he began his career when he was 18. 

Beyond film, Swardson as well had a television sketch show “Pretend Time with Nick Swardson” on Comedy Central from 2010 to 2012. Swardson is a recurring voice in the upcoming animated show “Chozen” that will be premiering on FXX. Swardson is working with FX on the development of the new project.

Tickets are $20 ($12 for ISU students with ISU ID) and are on sale now via Midwestix. Tickets can also be purchased at the Maintenance Shop Box Office from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
