ISU divers place 7th, 10th at Iowa Invitational

The ISU diving team sent two divers to finals at the Iowa Invitational this past weekend in Iowa City.

Senior Jessica Henderson placed seventh with a final platform score of 217.75, and sophomore Elyse Brouillette finished 10th with a 210.60 score. 

The Cyclones were one of two teams at the invitational to have divers compete in both the 3-meter and platform final diving events.

Brouillette entered the day in seventh place after a prelim score of 226.95, but slipped to 10th after her final platform performance.

After breaking her personal best for platform with a prelim score of 217.00, Henderson broke it again with a 217.75 score in the finals of the event.

The Cyclones next action will be against the Hawkeyes when they host the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk event at Beyer Pool on Dec. 13.
