NeedToBreathe, with opening act The Wild Feathers, will be performing at the Blue Moose Tap House in Iowa City on Oct. 28.

The band consists of two brothers, Bo and Bear Rinehart, and Seth Bolt. The Rinehart brothers grew up in Possum Kingdom, S.C.

The band has released four studio albums thus far with another soon to come.

According to lead guitarist Bo Rinehart, the album will be out “early next year, within the first couple of months.” The title is yet to be revealed, however Rinehart did comment “in the eleventh hour we decided on something else.”

On “The Stomping Ground Tour” which goes through the beginning of November, the band will be playing a mix of songs in some near and dear venues.

“We are playing three or four new ones as well as older far reaching songs,” Rinehart said. “We will be going through a lot of venues we played at on our way up, and getting back to our roots.”

So far, at least six of these shows are sold out.

When NeedToBreathe toured Europe, they were unable to bring a good amount of their equipment and stage props. This dilemma is what led to their current stage production.

“Here in the U.S., it’s a full on production, but [playing in Europe] was incredibly freeing. On this tour we just wanted to scale everything back,” Rinehart said.

The band’s line up for this tour will include Josh Lovelace on keyboards as well as Randall Harris on drums.

As for future endeavors of NeedToBreathe, the future is still open to possibilities.

“I have no idea,” Rinehart said. “It’s honestly a huge blessing when we pull up to the shows and see people. We absolutely love what we’re doing.”

Fans of NeedToBreathe can see them at the Blue Moose Tap House in Iowa City on Oct. 28.
