Senior libero Kristen Hahn received her 15th Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week award. She is now tied with former ISU libero Ashley Mass for the most ever weekly awards won in the conference.

Last week Iowa State won in straight sets against both Kansas State and West Virginia. Hahn had 20 digs against the Wildcats and posted another 19 against the Mountaineers.

Hahn is now first in the Big 12 and fourth in the country in digs per set with 5.79. She has 307 digs so far this season.

“Kristen [Hahn is] unbelievable, and it’s just kind of an expectation now. She has amazing games every game,” said sophomore middle blocker Tory Knuth after the win against West Virginia. “We can definitely count on her to show up every game and dig every ball pretty much.”
