Cyclones pull in 6th-best attendance in nation

Iowa State pulled in the sixth-best attendance for its wrestling dual meets in the nation, according to Amateur Wrestling News.

Iowa State averaged 2,455 in its five home duals, falling 21 short of fifth-place Minnesota. Its highest attendance came during the Beauty and the Beast meet on Feb. 8, 2013 when it beat Northern Iowa 23-12 in front of a crowd of 3,866.

In-state rival Iowa turned the top-ranked attendance for the seventh-straight year. The Hawkeyes averaged 8,764, which is more than 2,000 ahead of second-place Penn State.
