Aaron Carter to perform at the M-Shop

Singer Aaron Carter will perform at 8 p.m. on Oct. 4, 2013 at The Maintenance Shop in Ames.

Carter began his music career when he was 7 years old as the lead singer in the band Dead End. He made his first solo appearance two years later, in 1997, when he opened at a Backstreet Boys concert. 

In 1997, Carter released his first full-length album “Aaron Carter,” which achieved gold status in Norway, Spain, Denmark, Canada and Germany. Since then, Carter has released “Oh Aaron” and “Another Earthquake.” 

Some of Carter’s most popular songs are: “I Want Candy,” “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)” and “That’s How I Beat Shaq.” 

Tickets, which are on sale now, are $8 for ISU students and $14 for the general public.
