An art piece entitled “The Messenger” by Iowa State sophomores Mali Bilstad, Laney Krebs, Darbi Shaw, Ryan Piloni and senior Kayleen Mercer as well as Alexzandria Cheatham hangs in the entry way of the Ames Public Library on Aug. 14. The event Wearable Art, hosted by the library, runs from Aug. 14 to Aug. 24 and features several examples of wearable designs from students in the College of Design.
