Iowa State traveled to Ann Arbor, Mich., to compete against the No. 3 Michigan on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

The Cyclones stepped up their level to score the highest point total away from Hilton so far this season with 195.125, but it wasn’t enough to combat the 196.825 total from the Wolverines on their senior night.

Iowa State received a big performance from sophomore Caitlin Brown on the beam in its final matchup before the Big 12 Championship. Brown found herself in first place on the beam with a score of 9.875.

This was Iowa State’s ninth competition with a top-20 school and the third time it has seen Michigan this season.

The Cyclones will face West Virginia and Oklahoma on Saturday, March 23, at Hilton Coliseum for the chance to claim Big 12 honors.
