Iowa State (15-15) split Saturday, March 23, 2013’s games with a 12-1 win against Elon and a 0-6 loss to Florida Atlantic.

Tori Torrescano gave up one walk and an unearned run in her five-inning game. Torrescano is 7-7 on the season.

This no-hitter is the fifth in Iowa State history and the second this season. Riley Fisher threw the first no-hitter.

The second game of the day was against Florida Atlantic. The FAU softball team went up 5-0 in the first inning.

The pitcher for Florida Atlantic, Stephanie Call, only allowed four hits and struck out 10 batters.

Cyclones begin Big 12 competition this week with a three game matchup against Baylor starting Friday, March 29.
