Iowa State falls to Iowa, Hawkeyes clinch Cy-Hawk series

The ISU gymnastics team (4-7, 0-2 Big 12) fell to Iowa (7-5, 2-5 Big Ten) 196.375 to 194.575 on Friday evening, and the win allowed the Hawkeyes to clinch the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series. 

On the uneven bars, Iowa State scored 48.8. Junior Camille Santerre-Gervais continued her season of high scores on bars with a 9.85.

Iowa State scored 48.7 on vault. Junior Milan Ivory fell during warm ups and did not compete on vault.

On floor exercise Iowa State scored 49.125. Sophomore Caitlin Brown scored 8.825 on floor but received a 9.9 from one judge.

Iowa State scored 47.95 on its final rotation, the balance beam. Junior Henrietta Green fell during her routine and scored 8.975.

Santerre-Gervais tied for the uneven bars title. Junior Michelle Shealy had the top score on beam with her 9.875 performance.
