Former ISU offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele helped the Baltimore Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday night.

Osemele is the first former Cyclone to start in a Super Bowl since Ellis Hobbs started for the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. Osemele is also the first Cyclone to start for the winning team in a Super Bowl since offensive lineman Karl Nelson did so for the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXI.

Osemele got the start at left guard, blocking for the Ravens en route to turning in 93 yards on the ground and 274 through the air.

Osemele was a four-year starter at Iowa State and was a Sports Illustrated All-American in 2011.
