The ISU men’s golf team recorded another 12-over par round and moved into eighth place at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate on Saturday.

TCU is the meet’s definitive leader at 11-under par, shooting an even-par second round. No other team in the 17-team field has a two-round score under par.

The Cyclones’ No. 2 golfer Sam Daley led the team on day two of competition with a second-round score of 72. Scott Fernandez (74), Collin Foster (77) and Duncan Croudis (80) all contributed to the Cyclone effort.

Individually, three players are tied for the lead at 139. Fernandez is tied for 16th individually with a two-round score of 146.

The team moved up from its 11th-place position at the conclusion of the first round. The Cyclones were one of only six teams out of 17 to record the same or better scores in the second round of competition.

The third and final round of the tournament will be played Sunday.
