No. 6 Kansas State vs. Iowa State

Jake Calhoun: Iowa State — This will be the year Iowa State finally gets over the hump in Farmageddon. Plus Bill Snyder is really old.

Dean Berhow-Goll: Kansas State — Unfortunately for CyclONE Nation, I believe Collin Klein and co. will bring Iowa State back to earth.

Alex Halsted: Iowa State — Every year the Wildcats seem to slip past the Cyclones. Now Iowa State finally gets them at Jack Trice.

Stephen Koenigsfeld: Iowa State — Rhoads said this was his best team he’s had so far. They’ll need to be to beat the Snydercats.

Tom Hill: Iowa State — ISU is on a roll with a win over TCU on the road. The Cyclones are ready for a home victory over a ranked team.

Iowa vs. Michigan State

Calhoun: Michigan State — The Big Ten has so much derp in it this year, I honestly can’t take it anymore.

Berhow-Goll: Michigan State — Too much defense from Michigan State. They’ll have what they need to stop Weisman.

Halsted: Michigan State — It’s hard to predict any Big Ten game this season, but I once thought Michigan State was one of its top teams.

Koenigsfeld: Iowa — With all the off-field troubles, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ferentz locks Weisman in a room for the entire week.

Hill: Iowa — Iowa will be rested after a bye week and ready to beat the Spartans.

No. 15 Texas vs. No. 13 Oklahoma (in Dallas)

Calhoun: Oklahoma — The only other thing happening at the Texas State Fair is the fist fights over whose belt buckle is bigger.

Berhow-Goll: Texas — David Ash is underrated and I the Sooners are struggling mightily.

Halsted: Texas —Hook ‘em Horns. The Longhorns do what UTEP couldn’t for the state of Texas and beat the Sooners.

Koenigsfeld: Oklahoma — Even 26,000 sq. ft. of high-def Longhorn Network isn’t going to be enough for the Longhorns.

Hill: Texas — Texas will rebound following the loss to West Virginia.

No. 17 Stanford vs. No. 7 Notre Dame

Calhoun: Notre Dame — Lou Holtz would beat the living sap out of the Stanford tree in a boxing match.

Berhow-Goll: Notre Dame — Manti Te’o is the next big thing. The Golden domes will keep working their way into BCS contention.

Halsted: Notre Dame — For the first time in awhile, the Irish might live up to their expectations.

Koenigsfeld: Notre Dame — No Luck for Stanford in this one. In more ways than one.

Hill: Stanford

No. 10 Oregon State vs. BYU

Calhoun: Oregon State — Katherine wouldn’t let me make the joke I wanted to. It was funny. Really funny. You know why.

Berhow-Goll: Oregon State — Oregon State is incredibly battle-tested. I don’t think Jimmer plays quarterback anymore does he?

Halsted: Oregon State — I’ve seen one BYU game this season, and it was painful.

Koenigsfeld: BYU— Beavers vs. Cougars. When you see it…

Hill: Oregon State

TCU vs. Baylor

Calhoun: Baylor — TCU’s woes will continue to be exploited as Casey Pachall begins focusing on his “pottery”.

Berhow-Goll: Baylor — No Casey Pachall, no leader. Baylor has a lot of underrated firepower.

Halsted: Baylor — After owning the nation’s longest winning streak last week, a losing streak starts with this game.

Koenigsfeld: Baylor — In real life, a horned frog versus a bear would not be as good of a fight as this private school matchup.

Hill: Baylor – Baylor will take advantage of TCU’s inexperienced quarterback.

No. 3 South Carolina vs. No. 9 LSU

Calhoun: South Carolina — Wally Burnham coached at South Carolina and this is Wally’s World after all.

Berhow-Goll: South Carolina — The Coach has got one heck of a ball club. Potential national title contender.

Halsted: South Carolina —The Gamecocks took down a bulldog last week and continue their roll with the Tigers this week.

Koenigsfeld: LSU — What a neat game this will be!

Hill: South Carolina
