The search for the College of Business’ new dean was to be underway on October 11, 2012. According the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost, the search will begin immediately. 

To find the new dean, senior vice president and provost Jonathan Wickert has created an 18 member search committee. the committee is currently attempting to retain a search firm to assist in finding candidates.

This search committee will be co-chaired by Dawn Bratsch-Prince, associate provost for academic personnel and chief diversity officer and Pamela White, dean of the College of Human Sciences.  

Labh Hira, the previous business dean retired in March and is currently serving as interim president of the Iowa State University Foundation.

The position is currently being held by interim Raisbeck Endowed Dean of the College of Business is Michael Crum, professor and Ruan Chair in Supply Chain Management.

At this time, no one in the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost was able to be contacted.
