ISU alumna and Olympic athlete Lisa Uhl will soon return to Ames to train with cross-country and track and field coach Corey Ihmels and to be a volunteer coach for the teams.
“I think that’s going to be a great fit for us” Ihmels said. “To have someone like that at practice everyday, I think that it’s just going to be a great thing.”
Uhl is to start the 28-hour drive back to Iowa on Sunday. Stay tuned to iowastatedaily.net for more information on this story.
