Cyclone football announces start times for two games

ISU coach Paul Rhoads runs out of the tunnel on Nov. 18, 2011, to take on No. 2 Oklahoma State. Iowa State pulled off the best victory of Rhoads’ coaching career on that day, defeating the No. 2 Cowboys, 37-31, in double overtime.

The ISU football team announced the start times for two more football games for the upcoming 2012 season.

The opening game of the season versus Tulsa will take place at 11 a.m. Sept. 1. The Cyclones will host Western Illinois University two weeks later at 7 p.m. Sept. 15.

This joins the previously announced start time of the University of Iowa game taking place Sept. 8 in Iowa City at 2:30 p.m.

According to a news release from Cyclones.com, both games announced today will be televised, with those details coming at a later date from the Big 12 Conference.
