Klein, Knott receive nomination to preseason All-Big 12 team

Linebackers A.J. Klein and Jake Knott have had a busy preseason under the national spotlights, receiving four national, individual award nominations.
Most recently, the dynamic duo have been named to the preseason All-Big 12 team by the media, said cyclones.com.
Officials that oversee the conference nominated players from the Big 12 on offense, defense and special teams.
The official media poll of the Big 12 will be released on Thursday, preceding the Big 12 Media Days held in Dallas, Texas on July 23 and 24 cyclones.com said.
The individual awards that Klein and Knott were added to the watch lists of will be awarded at the end of the regular 2012-13 season.
