Veishea activities on campus will force several CyRide routes to detour through the rest of the weekend.

The closure of Union Drive north of Lake Laverne will cause CyRide to detour the #7 Purple, #21 Cardinal and #22 Gold routes beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday and continuing through the end of service on Friday.

The routes will take the following detours, according to a news release from CyRide:

• #7 Purple: East on Lincoln Way to Welch, bypass Welch to Morrill, north on Morrill to Union, north on Union to Morrill Road, east on Morrill Road by the Memorial Union and back on route. (Closed stops: Union/Welch north of Lake Laverne & Welch/Union across from Lower Friley)
• #21 Cardinal: West on Union at the Memorial Union, south on Morrill to Lincoln Way, west on Lincoln Way to Welch Road, north on Welch to Union and back on route. (Closed stops: none)
• #22 Gold: North on Lynn to Lincoln Way, west on Lincoln Way to Welch, north onWelch to Union Drive by Music Hall and back on route. (Closed stops: Morrill/Union)

Additional detours will begin at 3 p.m. Friday. #1 Red, #2 Blue and #6 Brown route detours will continue through the end of service on Saturday. A detour for the #2 Green route will begin at 3 p.m. Friday and continue through 5 p.m. Saturday.

The initial detour will be as follows:

• #1 Red West: West on Lincoln Way to Sheldon (bypass Welch), north on Sheldon to West, east on West Street to Hyland, south on Hyland and back on route.
• #1 Red East: Normal route to West Street, travel east on West Street to Sheldon, south on Sheldon to Lincoln Way, east on Lincoln Way and back on route at Welch/Lincoln Way.
• #2 Green: No detour; however, transfers to #1 Red will occur on West Street (one block west of Beyer Hall/State Gym).
• #3 Blue South: Normal route to Bissell/Union, west on Union to Hyland, south on Hyland to Lincoln Way, east on Lincoln Way and back on route at Lincoln Way/Welch.
• #3 Blue North: Normal route to Lincoln Way/Welch, bypass Welch to Sheldon, north on Sheldon to Union, east on Union to Bissell, north on Bissell and back on route.
• #6 Brown South: Normal route to Bissell/Union, west on Union to Sheldon, south on Sheldon to Knapp, east on Knapp to Hayward, south on Hayward and back on route at Hayward/Storm.
• #6 Brown North: Normal route to Lincoln Way/Welch, west on Lincoln Way to Sheldon, north on Sheldon to Union, east on Union to Bissell, north on Bissell and back on route.
• #6A Brown: North on Welch to Lincoln Way, west on Lincoln Way to Sheldon, north on Sheldon to Pammel, east on Pammel to Bissell, south on Bissell to Union, west on Union to Sheldon, south on Sheldon to Knapp (bypass Lincoln Way), east on Knapp East to Hayward, south on Hayward to Storm, east on Storm to Welch, north on Welch to Lincoln Way again.
• #6B Brown: South on Stange to Pammel, west on Pammel to Hyland (bypass Bissell), south on Hyland to Union, east on Union to Bissell, north on Bissell and back on route.

The red route will continue its detour on Saturday morning, but the detours for the #3 Blue and #6 Brown routes will expand. The #2 Green route will also be on a detour until 5 p.m. The detours are as follows:

• #2 Green West: Normal Route until Sixth Street and University Boulevard, south on University Boulevard to Lincoln Way, west on Lincoln Way to Sheldon, north on Sheldon to West Street, west on West Street to Hyland, north on Hyland and back on route.
• #2 Green East: Normal route until West/Hyland, south on Sheldon Ave. to Lincoln Way, east on Lincoln Way to University Blvd., north on University Blvd to 6th Street, east on 6th St. and back on route.
• #3 Blue South: Normal route to 13th Street/Stange, west on 13th Street to Hyland, south on Hyland to Lincoln Way, east on Lincoln Way and back on route at Lincoln Way/Welch.
• #3 Blue North: Normal route to Lincoln Way/Welch, bypass Welch to Sheldon, north on Sheldon to Union/West, west on West Street to Hyland, north on Hyland to 13th, east on 13th to Stange.
• #6A Brown: North on Welch to Lincoln Way, west on Lincoln Way to Sheldon, north on Sheldon to West Street, west on West. Street to Hyland, south on Hyland to Lincoln Way, east on Lincoln Way to Sheldon, south on Sheldon to Knapp (bypass Lincoln Way), east on Knapp to Hayward, south on Hayward and back on route.
• #6B Brown: Normal route to 13th Street and Stange, west on 13th Street to Hyland, south on Hyland to Lincoln Way, east on Lincoln Way to Sheldon, north on Sheldon to West Street, west on West Street to Hyland, north on Hyland to 13th Street, east on 13th Street to Stange, north on Stange and back on route.

Detours for the #2 Blue route and #6 Brown route will continue until the end of service on Saturday, but include fewer closed stops. The final detour, beginning at 5 p.m., is as follows:

• #1B Red Eastbound: Normal route to Hyland/West Street, east on West Street to Sheldon, south on Sheldon to Lincoln Way, east on Lincoln Way and back on route at Lincoln Way/Welch.

At the three-way intersection, south on Union to Lincoln Way, west on Lincoln Way bypassing Welch to Sheldon, north on Sheldon to Union, east on Union to Bissell, north on Bissell to Pammel, east on Pammel to Stange, north on Stange and back on route.
