Birthday: April 6, 1956

Family: Bachmann and her husband Marcus have five children and 23 foster children.

College: Graduated from Winona State University, and then later received her J.D. at the O.W. Coburn School of Law at Oral Roberts University and an LL.M. in Tax Law at the College of William and Mary.

Pre-congressional career: Federal tax litigation attorney in Minnesota and also opened a small business health care clinic in Stillwater.

Congressional Career: First female Minnesota Congressman
