The Women’s Volleyball Club hosted the annual Volleyballoween competition Sunday. The tournament started at 9:30 a.m. and went until 3 p.m. in the Forker Building.

Volleyballoween is a tournament in which each six-person, co-ed team must wear costumes while playing volleyball. The competition is open to all ISU students, but there must always be at least two girls on the court for each team.

“Costumes should be fun and creative. They can be a little crazy, but should also be something you could wear in front of your grandma,” said Casey Voelker, president of the Women’s Volleyball Club.

This is the third year the tournament has been held. The club hoped for anywhere between 10 and 15 teams to be competing. Each team was guaranteed at least two games.

The winning team was awarded free T-shirts and the team with the best costume won free candy.

According to the Women’s Volleyball Club, the day was filled with “costumes, volleyball skills and a little bit of craziness.”
