Presidential search candidates announced

The ISU presidential search committee has announced the two finalists in the search to replace outgoing ISU President Gregory Geoffroy.

Kumble Subbaswamy, provost of the University of Kentucky, and Steven Leath, vice president for research and sponsored programs for the University of North Carolina System – Chapel Hill, were the two candidates chosen as finalists.

Of the four candidates originally selected to be finalists, two withdrew for personal reasons, leaving only two final candidates, who will be visiting campus next week.

Subbaswamy will be on campus from Sept. 21 to 23, and Leath will be on campus from Sept. 22 to 24.
