Qualifications: Notices what is going on in the College of Business, works to clean up the buildings.

Representing constituency: Taking the time to meet with people, “finding solutions is easier in person,” avoiding the mass “e-mails that everyone gets.”

Handling Campustown plans: Thinks that Campustown is being treated “unfairly. There is a much larger area there than what they are focusing on,” Stypula said. The small things matter the most — curbs and plants “that aren’t really there.”

Addressing student debt: Working to raise money that is outside the “bricks and mortar of the university,” working to find more scholarships for students, keeping the little things students like instead of creating more buildings and sports complexes

Improving what the current senator is doing: Talking to students face to face, asking what they want to see in the college.
